HUBUNGAN SOKONGAN SOSIAL DAN PENGERTIAN HIDUP DALAM KALANGAN PELAJAR DI KOLEJ KEMAHIRAN TINGGI MARA, MASJID TANAH

Abstract


Kajian ini dijalankan adalah untuk melihat tahap sokongan sosial dengan pengertian hidup di kalangan pelajar KKTM Masjid Tanah. Kajian ini menggunakan dua set soal selidik iaitu Soal Selidik Sokongan Sosial (Inventory Of Socially Supportive Behaviour) dan Soal Selidik Pengertian Hidup (The Meaning of Life Questionnaire). Kajian ini telah dijalankan di Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi MARA Masjid Tanah, Melaka. Seramai 47 orang lelaki dan 23 orang perempuan pelajar yang terlibat dalam kajian ini. Kajian ini menggunakan dua kaedah analisis iaitu kaedah analisis deskriptif dalam melihat taburan demografi responden kajian. Analisis inferensi pula digunakan bagi melihat perbezaan antara sokongan sosial dengan  pengertian hidup pelajar berdasarkan faktor demografi. Data diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Hasil dari kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat hubungan antara sokongan sosial dengan pengertian hidup dan tidak terdapat perbezaan berdasarkan demografi sama ada dari segi program ataupun jantina dikalangan pelajar KKTM Masjid Tanah. Melalui kajian seperti ini, dapat membantu pelajar-pelajar dalam mengetahui apa makna hidup dalam kehidupan mereka dalam meningkatkan motivasi mereka dalam menjadi insan yang berguna pada masa akan datang.
