Introduction UPKAD

BASIC UNIT INFORMATION :

1. Provide the facilities to obtain advisory services, expertise and skills to each faculty, academy and units in relation to the quality of educational services.
2. Assist each faculty and academy in obtaining accreditation certification from MQA for each program of study offered.
3. To be a connecting channel between KUIM and quality certification and accreditation agencies.
4. Coordinate and monitor works related to the preparation of documents for the purpose of certification and quality auditing and accreditation of programmes.
5. Provide a data bank for all information related to quality and accreditation.

UNIT INTRODUCTION :

First established in 2015 which was originally known as the Quality and Accreditation Unit under the auspices of the Vice-Chancellor. This unit monitors the retention of ISO certification and accreditation for academic programs in KUIM.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Coordinate university quality improvement activities.
2. Assist all Responsibility Centres in need and quality recognition.
3. To be the secretariat for quality recognition certification of the Responsibility Centre.
4. Coordinate the internal audit of the governance of the university as a whole.
5. Develop quality assurance methods of academic program accreditation.
6. Menyemak dan menilai dokumen akreditasi.
7. Membantu semua fakulti dalam pengurusan dan pemantauan akreditasi program.
8. Mengkomunikasikan maklumat berkaitan akreditasi program kepada semua fakulti.
9. Menyelaras dan mendokumen perancangan strategi dan KPI universiti.
